Primary IDE Controller
Für den ersten IDE-Kanal müssen folgende Parameter definiert werden.
Auto Wenn diese Option aktiviert ist, versucht das BIOS im Anlauf die Parameter
der Festplatte zu erkennen und entsprechend optimal einzustellen.
Option darf nie ausgeführt werden, anderenfalls sind die Werte für
Cyl/Heads/SPT neu einzugeben
Type Typ der Festplatte ist immer USR1
Cyl
Anzahl der Zylinder der Festplatte (immer 4096)
Heads
Anzahl der Köpfe der Festplatte (immer 16)
SPT
Anzahl der Sektoren pro Spur (Sectors per Track) (immer 63)
Precomp Write Precompensation
L-Zone
Landezone (immer 4199)
Size Die Größe der Festplatte in MByte wird automatisch vom BIOS anhand der
Parameter berechnet und kann nicht eingestellt werden.
Trans Mode Transfermodus der Festplatte
Normal
Für Festplatten größer als 504 MByte muss unter RMOS der Normal Mode
verwendet werden.
Wichtig:
Es darf keine der Optionen Block Mode, 32-Bit oder Fast PIO aktiviert sein.!
