1 Purpose
This manual describes the general system requirements for Support Media V1.14 and the
interoperable products within Release SuP50. In addition changes regarding the functionality and
the DVD content are mentioned and also critical usage notes are considered.
NOTICE
Function of the Support Media DVD
The Support Media DVD included in the installation package checks the
necessary system requirements of your system and installs these. Amongst
others e.g. Microsoft .NET Framework, the License Manager and the Error
Installation of new software

Limitations and requirements for SQL server
• SQL Server Express Edition is a scaled down, free edition of SQL server,
which includes the core database engine. While there are no limitations on
the number of databases or users supported, it is limited to using one
processor, 1 GB memory and 4 GB database files (10 GB database files
from SQL Server Express 2008 R2). These limitations may impact the
system performance).
• 64 bit SQL Server editions require 64 bit operating systems.
