bag sizes to fit your application. Bags are marked with ESD caution information, RoHS compliant symbols, and are lot coded for traceability. Custom
printing is available.
Static Shielding bags protect electronic items from electrostatic, physical and environmental damage during manufacture, transportation, and storage. As
required in ANSI/ESD S541, and as part of the ANSI/ESD S20.20 ESD control program, shielding bags provide protection from static discharge and are low
charging. These bags are one of the most cost effective and widely used types of static control packaging, with over 500 million bags made each year.

SCC 1000 Static Shielding Bags
This transparent, metal-in static shielding bag is designed to provide a
static safe environment for sensitive electronic devices. With over 100
stock sizes ready for same-day shipping, the 3M SCC 1000 remains the
bag of choice for IC and PCB protection. These bags are tested to meet
or exceed the electrical and physical requirements of MIL-PRF-81705
Type III, ANSI/ESD S541, EIA 625, MIL-HDBK-263, MIL-STD-1686,
and ANSI/ESD S20.20. Bags are RoHS Compliant* and lead-free**.
Features
• Faraday effect shielding by the metallized layer protects electronic
devices from ESD and electrostatic fields.
• Durability is enhanced by positioning the metal layer between
polyester and polyethylene.
• Four-layer construction offers excellent protection from
punctures and tears.
