3 Requirements
3.1 System Requirements
The Support Media DVD included in the installation package checks the necessary system requirements of your
system and installs the needed components like Microsoft .NET Framework, the License Manager and the Error
Reporting tool.
The use of the Support Media V2.3 is mandatory.
The system requirements (supported operating systems and database variants) and an overview of the
interoperable products can be found in the SIPLACE Support Media Installation Manual, item no. [00197214-
xx].
3.2 Supported SQL Server Editions
This version of OIB will support the following existing SQL Server Editions:
• SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2 (64-Bit)
• SQL Server 2008 Express Edition R2 SP2 (32-Bit & 64-Bit)
• SQL Server 2008 R2 SP3 (64-Bit)
• SQL Server 2008 Express Edition R2 SP3 (32-Bit & 64-Bit)
• SQL Server 2012 SP2 CU4 (64-Bit)
• SQL Server 2012 Express Edition SP2 CU4 (32-Bit & 64-Bit)
• SQL Server 2014 SP1 (64-Bit)
• SQL Server 2014 Express Edition SP1 (32-Bit & 64-Bit)
3.3 Supported Operation Systems
This OIB Version will support the following Operation Systems:
• Windows 7 (32 Bit) SP1 Compatible
• Windows 7 (64 Bit) SP1 Compatible
• Windows 8.1 (64 Bit) Compatible
• Windows 10 (64 Bit) Preferred
• Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 (64 Bit) Compatible
• Windows Server 2012 R2 (64 Bit) Preferred

3.4 Required SIPLACE Software
3.4.1 SIPLACE OIB Core
The required SIPLACE Software will be installed by the Support Media DVD 2.3
• SIPLACE License Manager 4.1 or higher
• SIPLACE Error Reporter 1.3 or higher
• SIPLACE Studio 2.1 or higher
• Operation Manager 1.9
CAUTION
Prerequisites will be installed with the Support Media and are not part of the
SIPLACE OIB 4.3 Product CD. The Support Media will be released separately, so
please follow the installation instructions from the installation manual.
3.4.2 SIPLACE OIB SIPLACE Pro Adapter
The following SIPLACE Software is required:
• SIPLACE License Manager 4.1 or higher
• SIPLACE Error Reporter 1.3 or higher
• SIPLACE OIB Core 4.3 or higher
• SIPLACE Pro (one of the supported versions)
CAUTION
The SIPLACE OIB Core must be installed before installing the OIB Adapters. The
OIB Core may be installed on another computer or locally.
You should have the SIPLACE OIB Core computer name available.

3.4.3 SIPLACE OIB Setup Center Adapter
The required SIPLACE Software is installed by the corresponding product media.
• SIPLACE Error Reporter 1.3 or higher
• App Sight Black Box
• SIPLACE Setup Center (one of the supported versions)
CAUTION
The SIPLACE OIB Setup Center Adapter must be installed on the same computer
as the SIPLACE Setup Center GUI or on the server.
CAUTION
Prerequisites will be installed with the Support Media and are not part of the
SIPLACE OIB 4.3 Product CD. The Support Media will be released separately, so
please follow the installations instructions from the installation manual.
3.4.4 SIPLACE OIB Monitoring Service Adapter
The required SIPLACE Software is installed by the Support Media DVD 2.3
• SIPLACE OIB Core 4.3 or higher
• SIPLACE Error Reporter 1.3 or higher
• App Sight Black Box from the Support Media
• SIPLACE OIS (one of the supported versions)
CAUTION
The SIPLACE OIB Monitoring Service Adapter must be installed on the same
computer as the SIPLACE OIS component.
