SIEMENS conveyor interface on the
SIPLACE HF-series / X-series / D3
2.1 Description of the functions
The SMEMA conveyor interface is used as standard from the SIPLACE HF onwards. 2
However, it is generally a good idea to use the "SIEMENS interface" when incorporating a SI-
PLACE HF into a line with other (older) Siplace platforms, otherwise the existing machines will
also have to be retrofitted with a SMEMA interface. 2
If the customer still wishes to have a SIEMENS interface, then the relevant interface cable:
00303636-xx - "SIPLACE - SIPLACE connecting cable“
will have to be ordered and the conveyor control TSP 301 will have to be reconfigured. 2
