2.4 Preparatory work
: Switch the placement machine off at the main switch.
2.5 Retrofit
: To connect the Siemens interface cable and reconfigure, open the conveyor control above the
pneumatic unit and pull out the control.
You can then run the cable from the inside of the machine and through the conveyor control
terminal box.
: Connect the interface cable for each conveyor track to the conveyor control according to the
type of interface and configure it.

Incorrect configuration will cause a short-circuit, and thus damage the conveyor control. You must
therefore check your settings again before switching the placement machine on again. 2
