1 Introduction
This manual describes the general system requirements for SIPLACE Net Support Media 2.3 and
the interoperable products within Release R85. In addition, changes regarding the functionality and
the Support Media content are mentioned and also critical usage notes and troubleshooting are
considered.
NOTICE
Function of the Support Media
The Support Media included in the installation package checks the necessary system
requirements of your system and installs them. Amongst others, e.g. Microsoft .NET
Framework, the License Manager and the Error Reporting tool.
The use of Support Media 2.3 is mandatory (except for line software)!

2 Scope of Delivery
● Software SIPLACE Net Support Media Version 2.3. The media contains the packages listed
in Table 2-1.

NOTICE
To reduce the size of Support Media, some installation packages that
are not required by
currently released SIPLACE line software products have been removed from the Full
Version.
Additionally, because of redistribution restrictions, some required installation packages
have also been removed.
Detailed information on the installation procedure can be found in the SIPLACE Net Support Media
Administration Manual, item no. [00197793-xx].
The SIPLACE Net Support Media exists in two versions.
2.1 Full Version for Customers
This is the "full version" of Support Media. It delivers at least all required prerequisite installation
packages for the appropriate release version of the supported SIPLACE line software products.
Additionally, it contains packages which will not be installed automatically. This includes drivers for
supported computer systems and additional tools like CD / DVD burning software, etc.
2.1.1 Content of the Full Version for Customers
