1.2 Overview of SIPLACE S Feeders
The following section provides an overview of the S feeders in the SIPLACE family and their areas of
use.
1.2.1 Tape Feeder Modules
The SIPLACE feeders have short cycle times and high precision positioning of components into the pick-
up positions. Productivity and small recipe sizes are easy to handle as the feeders can be quickly con-
verted to deal with other components and the step sizes adjusted accordingly.
3x8 mm S feeders
For processing components in 8 mm tapes on 3 separate tracks.
