Notes on Installation, Transfer and Maintenance
Do not install or transfer the machine on the customer side after shipment.
To ensure perfect operation of the machine, including safety and accuracy, only YAMAHA
sales representatives will install the machine or transfer it to another place.
Only the maintenance work on items described in this manual should be performed by the
customer. Please read the instruction manual carefully before maintenance work. Do not
perform any maintenance work on items that are not described in this manual. Otherwise,
not only breakdown of the machine but also personal injury may result.
When an alert label has deteriorated and become illegible, contact YAMAHA sales
representatives.
Only a well-trained service person should perform maintenance work carefully through for
the machine in compliance with the instructions.
Before the maintenance work, be sure to turn off the power breaker and lock them with
padlocks. Designate a person who can have charge of the padlock key.
Even when the power breaker is set to "OFF", the primary line is powered, making it
possible to cause an electric shock.
Be sure to completely stop the power supply to the machine before maintenance work.
Residual voltages may remain behind for a few minutes in the internal devices of the
machine after power interception.
Before performing maintenance work, wait until the charge lamps of the DC power supply
and the servo amplifier go "OFF" in 10 minutes or more after the power breaker is set to
"OFF".
Do not mount on the machine’s top surface. Otherwise, you might fall from it.
When you access inside the machine, work with care for things overhead.

CE marking
This equipment conforms to the EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC (description A1 below)
and EMC Directive 2014/30/EU (description A2 below). However, this equipment does not
bear CE marking if a custom order item was installed.

Cautions regarding the official language of EU countries and the language used in operation
manuals, CE declarations, operation screen characters, and warning labels when this
equipment is installed in an EU country.
All materials except warning labels are written in English only.

EMC description
Electromagnetic immunity (Immunity)
Complies with test standards as specified by EN 61000-6-2.
Electromagnetic emissions (Emission)
Complies with test standards for ISM category: Group 1, Class A, as specified by EN 55011.
Class A equipment is intended for use in industrial environments. If used in other environments,
ensuring electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) might be difficult. Refer to EN 55011 standards
for detailed information.
