STABILIZING
Stabilization Time and Countdown Time are edited in the Process Recipe.
Stabilization Time is the maximum period necessary for the oven to normalize
and bring all conditions within operating tolerances.
(That is; "at setpoint".)
Countdown Time is a time period the "at setpoint" conditions must be maintained
after which, the oven will go to "Process Ready".
When a Product is started, Stabilizing starts and the “Status Bar” displays:
STABILIZING - #
(The (#) number indicates the remaining minutes of stabilization time
During Stabilizing, if the oven reaches "at setpoint", the Countdown Time starts.
After Countdown: 1) If "at setpoint", then the oven enters "Process Ready".
2) If "not at setpoint ", then the oven continues Stabilizing
(or Re-Stabilizing)
(Oven can re-enter Countdown again by reaching
"at setpoint " within the remaining Stabilizing Time)
If the Stabilizing Time has expired and the oven conditions are not within the:
1) process warning tolerances - the oven enters a Warning State.
2) process shutdown tolerances - the oven enters a Shutdown State.
SYSTEM SETUP
The oven enters the system setup state any time an action is performed which will
cause a process parameter to go beyond the tolerance; such as during calibrations,
during QUICK COOL, MANUAL RAIL WIDTH ADJUST, and other similar
functions. This occurs automatically to temporarily disable any non-critical alarms
which may be affected, and the Yellow light on the light tower will be on.
The Oven Status Bar will display:
SETUP
WARNING
The oven displays a warning when a cell's temperature, the conveyor speed, (or
other function set) goes beyond the values specified in the process recipe.
The Process Ready signal is turned off and the yellow light will light.
The Oven Status Bar will display:
WARNING
The Event & Alarm log will display the reason for the warning state.
A part of any cell with low temperature will be displayed in blue. (The more it goes
below temp, the more blue will be displayed)

ALARM SHUTDOWN
When a Critical Alarm condition is detected in the oven, an alarm message will be
displayed and shutdown will occur.
An alarm shutdown can occur when any cell set for critical alarm goes over
(or under) acceptable temperature limits or if the actual conveyor speed is over
(or under) the setpoint.
A part of any cell with over temperature will be displayed in red.
(The more it goes above temp, the more red will be displayed)
A part of any cell with low temperature will be displayed in blue.
(The more it goes below temp, the more blue will be displayed)
The Oven Status Bar will display:
SHUTDOWN: ALARM
The Event & Alarm log will display the reason for the alarm shutdown.
PROCESS READY
The oven is in the process ready state when ALL of the following exist:
1) All the cell temperatures are within the Process Recipe tolerance.
2) The conveyor speed is within the Process Recipe tolerance
3) There are no alarm conditions or warnings
4) The countdown timer has expired.
When in the process ready state:
1) The Process Ready signal and the green light are turned on.
2) The Oven Status Bar will display:
READY

SHUTDOWN PROCEDURE
When the Power Off ICON, or File, then Stop Running Process is
selected, the oven begins the shutdown procedure. The heaters are turned off, the
conveyor and cell fans continue to run.
The status bar will display:
SHUTDOWN
When the oven has entered shutdown, or when the oven is first powered up, a
procedure called SHUTDOWN is executed. (This procedure cannot be modified by
the user) During SHUTDOWN, the cell fans are enabled and the conveyor runs at
maximum speed. The red light on the light tower is on.
When the temperatures of all cells are below 100 degrees C, the oven enters the
OFF state. The status bar indicates:
OFF
The cell fans and the conveyor stop. The red light on the light tower, and the red
light on the operator panel are on.
While the oven is in an OFF state, if any cell temperature goes above 100 deg C,
the oven will re-enter the SHUTDOWN procedure , the Oven will go into “Alarm”
and the Cell fans will run.
WARNING
WHEN THE OVEN IS "OFF", THE ELECTRICAL POWER IS STILL PRESENT
IN THE OVEN AND REMAINS A PERSONAL INJURY HAZARD
WHICH CAN RESULT IN
RISK OF INJURY OR DEATH !!!!!
