Caution Notices Caution notices draw the attention of users/maintainers to a potentially
hazardous situation which, if not avoided may result in minor or moderate
injury. The following table displays the caution labels affixed to the machine
and/or displayed in the machine documentation:
WARNING
COMPRESSED AIR. COMPRESSED AIR SHOULD NEVER IMPINGE
UPON THE BODY. PORTS, PIPES, ETC MUST NEVER BE BLOCKED
BY HAND. BEFORE CONNECTING OR DISCONNECTING ANY
PNEUMATIC COMPONENTS, ENSURE THE COMPRESSED AIR
SUPPLY HAS BEEN DISSIPATED AND DISCONNECTED FROM THE
MACHINE.
WARNING
E STOP CIRCUIT. THE E STOP CIRCUIT FITTED TO THE MACHINE
ONLY ISOLATES THE 24V AND 42V SUPPLIES TO THE MAIN CON-
TACTORS. LETHAL VOLTAGES ARE STILL PRESENT WITHIN THE
MACHINE AFTER THE E STOP HAS BEEN ACTIVATED.
WARNING
HARMFUL SUBSTANCES. CLEANING WIPES AND CLEANING
SOLUTIONS MAY CONTAIN SUBSTANCES HAZARDOUS TO
HEALTH. OBSERVE ALL MANUFACTURERS’ HEALTH AND SAFETY
GUIDELINES. ALWAYS WEAR APPROVED PROTECTIVE CLOTHING
WHEN CLEANING THE MACHINE.
WARNING
MACHINE LIFTING. TO PREVENT SERIOUS INJURY TO PERSON-
NEL, DURING LIFTING AND TRANSPORTATION OPERATIONS,
ENSURE THE MACHINE IS LIFTED AND TRANSPORTED IN ACCOR-
DANCE WITH INSTRUCTIONS DETAILED IN THIS SECTION.

RECOMMENDED SOLVENTS. ANY SOLVENTS USED MUST COM-
PLY WITH LOCAL ENVIRONMENTAL GUIDELINES. ASM RECOM-
MEND USING SOLVENTS THAT ARE ENVIRONMENTALLY
FRIENDLY, IE CFC FREE AND WATER BASED. SOLVENTS USED
MUST HAVE FAST EVAPORATION RATES AND FLASHPOINT SPEC-
IFICATIONS GREATER THAN 39ºC.
CAUTION
SOLDER PASTE AND SOLVENTS. WHEN USING OR HANDLING ANY
SOLDER PASTE OR SOLVENT FORMULATION THE MANUFACTUR-
ERS’ RECOMMENDED SAFETY PRECAUTIONS MUST BE STRICTLY
ADHERED TO.
