3.3 Fitting and Connecting the 1 Wire Hub
The 1-Wire-Hub is used to control the following options up to SW605:
▪ Verify reject bin sensors
▪ Nozzle changers for C&P20, C&P6 and C&P12
If one of these two options is already fitted at the relevant location, an additional 1-Wire-Hub is not re-
quired.
If the 1-Wire-Hub is to be fitted in a one gantry placement area, you may need to loosen the component
feed-in device at location 2 and 4 and pull this slightly out of the machine. Please read the latest service
manual for the relevant machine prior to this.
3.3.1 Fitting on the Component Feed Device
CAUTION
Component feed device - heavy machine component
The COT insert is heavy. You may need to enlist the help of a second person.
Fixing the mounting bracket for 1 wire hub
1. 1-Wire-Hub module CAT5 [03041473-xx]
2. Mounting bracket [03023039-xx]
3. DIN912-M3x6-A2-70 [00201463-xx]
► Screw the 1-Wire-Hub to the mounting bracket (2x
M3x6).
Assembly 1 wire hub
1. 1 wire hub module CAT5 [03041473-xx]

3. Control cable for nozzle changer
4. DIN7981 ST3.5x6,5 - C-H-A2 [03046777-xx]
5. Patch cable: 1 wire distributor - 1-Wire-Hub CAT5
6. Connection for verify reject bin cable
► Fix the mounting bracket (with the 1-Wire-Hub fas-
tened to it) to the docking unit.

LAN cable routing
1. Patch cable: 1 wire distributor - 1-Wire-Hub CAT5
2. Recesses on the machine base
► Unthread the patch cable (X1*q) from the machine
frame and run it to the 1 wire hub. Fix the cable into
place with suitable ties or similar.
Connecting the sub connector to the 1 wire hub
1. Patch cable: 1 wire distributor - 1-Wire-Hub CAT5
2. 1 wire hub module CAT5 [03041473-xx]
3. Connection for verify reject bin cable
► Connect the patch cable to the 1 wire hub.
► Connect the sub D connector x2*q to the 1 wire hub
and screw tight.

3.3.2 Fitting at Location with MTC
1-Wire-Hub on TwinHead nozzle changer at location with
MTC
1. Carrier for TwinHead nozzle changer
2. Mounting bracket
3. 1 wire hub module CAT5 [03041473-xx]
► Unscrew the mounting bracket from the nozzle
changer carrier for the TwinHead.
► Screw the 1-Wire-Hub to the mounting bracket with
two M2.5x6 screws.
► Fix the mounting bracket (including 1-Wire-Hub))
onto the carrier of the TwinHead nozzle changer.

MTC2
1. Carrier for TwinHead nozzle changer
2. Patch cable: 1-Wire distributor - 1-Wire-Hub-CAT5
3. 1 wire hub module CAT5 [03041473-xx]
► Connect the patch cable to the hub.
► Connect the sub D connector x2*q to the 1 wire hub
and screw tight.
► Run the patch cable along the camera (like the sen-
sor cable) and fix it into place there.
