4.3.3.3 Fixing the monitors
Install and secure the monitor in the bracket using 4x M4 x 8mm screws with washer.
Insert the power cable.
Insert and tighten the screws of the VGA cable.
4.3.4 Tools and equipment
You will need the following tools and equipment to adjust the height of your machine:
Open-ended wrench SW 19, SW 30, SW 36
One or two machine spirit level(s): accuracy 0.02 mm/m
Forklift truck (specification see 4.1.4.3 "Means of transport" [}57]).
4.3.5 Adjusting the machine height
The machine can be set at any PCB conveyor height within the following range:
900 mm ± 15 mm
930 mm ± 15 mm
950 mm ± 15 mm
CAUTION
Foot spacers
When using the 950 ± 15 mm PCB conveyor height, foot spacers are required to maintain
ASM ProcessLens Dual-lane measurement accuracy and stability.
NOTICE
PCB conveyor height
The PCB conveyor height is the distance between the top edge of the PCB conveyor belt
and the bottom edge of the machine feet.

5.1.2 Description
All the controls can be reached by a 1.40 m tall person.
Programmable tower lamp with buzzer
(see fig. "Controls and displays" [}74])
The programmable tower lamp is used to signal operating statuses and malfunctions of the
machine. The buzzer indicates when an alert has occurred. The sequence of colors of the tower
lamps is red - amber - green.
The programmable tower lamp functionality allows the operator to assign a combination of the fol-
lowing tower lamps conditions to machine events:
Condition Possible states Frequency of flashes

LCD monitor
(see fig. "Controls and displays" [}74])
There is a flat LCD monitor at the front side of the ASM ProcessLens Dual-lane machine. A LCD
monitor with a touch-sensitive surface (touchscreen) as an option is available.
Keyboard
(see fig. "Controls and displays" [}74])
The keyboard and mouse are located beneath the monitor.
CAUTION
Risk of collision of personal with monitor and keyboard holder
Risk of collision of the front hood with the arm where the monitor, keyboard and mouse are
mounted.
Key switch ON/OFF
(see fig. "Controls and displays" [}74])
Turn on the control power manually and switch the conveyor into pass through mode when the PC
is down.
Close the GUI program.
Switch off the machine by the main switch.
Wait for 30 sec switch on the machine by the main switch.
Turn the key switch to the left and release to turn on the control power.
Turn the key switch to the right.
The conveyor set to pass through running mode.

4.3.6 Levelling the machine
Level the machine in the X and Y direction with the help of the machine spirit level.
Fig.39: Position of the machine spirit level in the X and Y direction
Place the machine spirit levels (1) in the X and then the Y direction on the linear guide rails.
Measure the distance between the upper edge of the PCB conveyor belt and the floor. This
distance should be the range from to 950 mm, if the height of the machine is to be set to
950mm. Other heights also apply.
Turn the bottom screw nut (item 4 in fig. "Presetting the height of the machine feet" [}65]) of
all four machine feet, so that the fluid in the machine spirit level does not deviate from its zero
point (tolerance within ±0.05mm) at the required conveyor height.
Check the required board conveyor height.
Once the machine has been levelled, tighten the top secure nut (item 3 in fig. "Presetting the
height of the machine feet" [}65]) to clamp all machine feet.
Use the spirit level to check that the machine is precisely levelled (tolerance within
±0.05mm).
