X SIPLACE Trace Host components can be
started by selecting Programs → SIPLACE
Trace Host from the Windows menu:

TraceHost Monitor
Archive Import Wizard
Check Configuration
Documentation
Error Reporting
Modify-Uninstall
Upgrade db Wizard
The SIPLACE Trace Host Server will be
automatically started as a Windows NT service,
after successful installation and after each
computer reboot. You will see the icon in
your Windows console. Right-click with the mouse
to open the Trace Host Manager or manually close
SIPLACE Trace Host.

5.4.1.2 Traceability Option - Installation Procedure
NOTE:
You need administrator privilege for your operation system in order to perform this installation.
X Insert the SIPLACE Traceability CD into your
CD-ROM drive. You will see the Start screen:
X Select Traceability Option 3.2 for SE 2.8.
X You will now be guided through the installation
procedure for the SIPLACE Explorer
Traceability option.
X Close all other programs and then click on
Next to continue.
X Before SIPLACE Explorer Traceability can be
installed, you must have SIPLACE Trace Host
and SIPLACE Explorer installed on your
system. If both of these applications are
already installed, installation of SIPLACE
Explorer Traceability will begin automatically.
SIPLACE Explorer Traceability must be
installed on the same computer as SIPLACE
Explorer, SIPLACE Trace Host can be
installed on a different computer.
X If the SIPLACE Explorer Traceability
installation procedure is unable to locate
SIPLACE Explorer on your computer, you will
see the following dialog box.

X Specify the SIPLACE Explorer installation
folder here. If SIPLACE Explorer has not yet
been installed on your computer, you can click
on Cancel to terminate the SIPLACE Explorer
Traceability installation procedure.
X Install SIPLACE Trace Host and SIPLACE
Explorer on your computer and then restart the
SIPLACE Traceability installation procedure.
X If SIPLACE Trace Host and SIPLACE Explorer
are already installed on your system, the
installation procedure will continue.
X Read the license conditions. Click on I accept
... to accept and on I do not accept ... if you
do not want to accept. If you click on I do not
accept ..., the installation procedure will be
terminated.
The following dialog box will be shown:
X Click on the Install button to start the actual
installation of SIPLACE Explorer Traceability.
