6.2 Upgrade of Traceability 1.x to 3.x

Please note that a direct upgrade of Traceability version 1.x to 3.x is not supported within this version.

Instead of that you have to execute an intermediate step with Trace Host 2.0.

Please perform the following steps:

X Uninstall Trace Host 1.x

X Installation of Trace Host 2.0

X Execute the DB Upgrade Wizard to convert the database to 2.0 format

X Uninstall Trace Host 2.0

X Installation of Trace Service 3.x

X Installation of Trace Host 3.x

X Execute the DB Upgrade Wizard to convert the database to 3.x format

X Configure the import paths (see chapter before)

X Check all configuration settings of Trace Service and Trace Host

6.3 Upgrade of Traceability 2.x to 3.x

Please perform the following steps:

X Uninstall Trace Host 2.0

X Uninstall Trace Service 2.0

X Installation of Trace Service 3.x

X Installation of Trace Host 3.x

X Execute the DB Upgrade Wizard to convert the database to 3.x format

X Configure the import paths (see chapter before)

X Check all configuration settings of Trace Service and Trace Host
