2.1 Various Functions
Direct Pickup
The components are taken out directly from the pallet on the single-transfer
tray feeder using the placement head on the GHX main machine.

Allocation Function
Up to
9 different pieces of component allocation data can be set for one
pallet.
When small trays are handled, additional types of components can be
allocated by installing several trays, increasing the number of components
to be used.
Moreover, not only grid-type trays but also staggered-type ones can be
handled regarding them as parallel-bank-arranged ones (overlapped grid-
type trays), making it possible to make exible use of trays.

2.2 Outline of Actions
(1) Set a new tray on the xed pallet and close the tray supply door.
(2) Press the [TRAY READY] button.
Pressing the [TRAY READY] button locks the tray supply door and
transfers the pallet to the component pick-up position.

) The placement head on the GXH series main machine will pick up the
components from the pallet located on the component pick-up position
according to the pattern program.
(4) The images of the picked components (the componen
ts picked up by
the placement heads) are captured and recognized by the component
recognition cameras to detect the deviation in the pickup position.
The detected deviation is corrected and the components are placed
accurately on the specied positions.
When a pickup error or a recognition error is detected during the
component recognition, the machine performs the discharge operation
of the rejected component.
(5) Repeat Steps (
3) and (4).
When the component on the pallet runs out, the head stops the pick-
up operation and the tower light warns the component shortage to the
operator.
When the pallet is returned to the tray supply position (Pallet transfer
cylinder backward limit), open the tray supply door and change the tray.
