2.10.2 Exchange filter

The filter is located on the right side
of the MRS. Please check the filter
on a regular base and exchange it if
necessary.
Attention!
If the filter is located in the filter
case, do not clean it in the cleaning
bath.
Tools and Consumable materials:
Allen key

Procedure:
1. Pull off the upper cooling water
pipes.
2. Open the tenter frame (push
down the handle) and pull out
the frame.
3. Pull out the filter case.
4. Loosen the 4 screws at the filter
case and take away the upper
part of the frame.
5. Pull out the dirty filter.
6. Push in the new filter.
Attention!
Make sure that the coated side
of the filter is on the bottom.
7. Reassemble the filter case and
push it back into the MRS.

2.10.3 Clean the agglomerator‘s and the cooler

The agglomerators and cooler has
to be cleaned in the cleaning bath
on a regular base.
Tools and consumables material:
Cleaning bath
Procedure:
1. Pull off all pipes.
2. Open the tenter frame (push
down the handle) and take out
the cases from top to bottom.
3. Pull out the case and put it in
the cleaning bath.
4. Push the cleaned case back
into the MRS.

2.11 Pyrolysis
2.11.1 Replacing the Granulate

The pyrolysis unit is located at the
back of the system at the oven inlet.
Note!
The system must be cooled down before replacing the granulate, because
the granulate has a temperature of at least 500° C when the system is
running.

Open-end wrench and hex key

Cartridge seal
Procedure:
1. Remove the screws from the
cover and set them aside.
2. Loosen the nuts at the pyrolysis
unit and remove the cover.
