1. The warranty period for the camera is one year from the date of purchase, or longer
as stipulated by local laws. The warranty period for batteries is one year. If any quality
issues arise during the warranty period, the user is entitled to free repair services.
2. When providing warranty services, all replaced main units, parts, components, and
accessories shall remain the property of SJCAM. Before returning the product for
warranty service, make sure to back up any data stored on the product and delete any
confidential information or personal data. SJCAM shall not be liable for any losses
caused by data loss or disclosure.
3. The following circumstances are not covered under the warranty:
3.1. Product malfunctions or defects not caused by SJCAM (including but not limited
to improper use, maintenance by the consumer as per the product manual;
unauthorized disassembly, repair, or modification by the consumer or unauthorized
service centers; use of components or accessories not approved by SJCAM; use for
purposes other than photography; liquid or food ingress; use in high-temperature or
harsh environments; damage caused by human factors or personal negligence such
as squeezing or dropping).
3.2. Natural wear and tear of the product (including but not limited to the casing,
display screen, buttons, accessories, etc.), and any periodic inspections,
maintenance, repairs, or part replacements resulting therefrom.
3.3. Discrepancies or alterations between the contents ofthe valid invoice and
warranty card and the actual product.
3.4. Unclear, altered, damaged, removed, or illegible product serial numbers,
barcodes, SNcodes, etc., or damaged or removed anti-tamper labels or waterproof
labels on the main unit.
3.5. Machine malfunctions caused by continued use after battery casing damage or
short circuits due to human factors.
3.6. Human-induced damage, including but not limited to accidental drops, liquid
ingress, improper use, etc.
3.7. Damage caused by force majeure events such as natural disasters.
4. The following circumstances will void the warranty:
4.1. Failure to use the product correctly in accordance with the product manual.
4.2. Unauthorized disassembly, repair, or modification.
4.3. Intentional damage or misuse of the product.
4.4. Use of the product in violation of relevant laws and regulations.
Important Notes:
During the warranty period, users must keep the product purchase receipt properly
and provide it when necessary.
