WARNING
Observe the applicable accident prevention regulations!
► The applicable accident prevention regulations concerning the transportation of heavy
goods must be followed.
WARNING
Risk of injuries!
► Make sure that there are no people in the hazard area.
DANGER
Risk of nozzle cleaning station tilting!
There is a risk of tilting if the required specifications for the fork-lift and the attachment
points at the nozzle cleaning station are not observed!
► The nozzle cleaning station may only be lifted for transportation from the longitudinal
side.
► The forks of the fork-lift must be pushed between the wheels (see fig. below).
► Only use a fork-lift which is specified for transportation of the nozzle cleaning station.
Observe the specifications of the fork-lift.
DANGER
Risk of tilting the transportation crate or the pallet!
There is a risk of tilting if the required specifications for the fork-lift are not observed!
► Make sure you only use the specified equipment for transportation. Observe the spe-
cifications of the transportation equipment.
DANGER
Transportation only permitted on the original ASM pallet!
When transporting the nozzle cleaning station on a pallet, you may only use the original
ASM pallet. Transportation on the original ASM pallet is the safest form of transportation, to
avoid tilting of the nozzle cleaning station. The shipping braces and steel spacers must be
fitted for this.
► Transport the NCS on the pallet as near as possible to the final site of use.
► The NCS can also be safely transported on the original ASM pallet, without the
wooden crate.
DANGER
Risk to life!
Before moving or handling the NCS, safely stop its operation and disconnect it from all ex-
ternal power sources (electrical, compressed air, or other, as applicable).

WARNING
Damage to property on the nozzle cleaning station!
Risk of damaging the NCS if it is transported without crate or pallet.
► When transporting the NCS over longer distances, always use a pallet with the ship-
ping braces and steel spacers fitted. Please note that this is the safest way to trans-
port the placement machine.
► The suspension of the machine wheel in the nozzle cleaning station frame could be
damaged by being dragged along the floor or from impact. When you are transporting
the NCS, make sure that all the feet are clear of the floor.
► Read chapter 4 "Setting up and commissioning" [}33] of this manual through com-
pletely before transporting the machine.
► Enlist the help of a second person to watch while you lift the NCS and make sure that
the machine does not tip over to one side.
WARNING
Damage to property on the nozzle cleaning station!
Before shipping the NCS off-site, empty all machine components included in the processing
fluid and separated oil cycles. Do not move the machine with the processing fluid inside.
WARNING
Risk of damage due to excessive fork spacing!
Increased fork spacing, which means that the NCS is raised at points outside its contact
surface, can lead to deformation of the NCS frame and cause damage to cables and lines.
► The forks may only be opened to a degree which ensures that they are still within the
contact area of the NCS underside (see fig. below).
WARNING
DANGER OF CRUSHING!
Risk of crushing feet when transporting the placement machine.
► Wear special protective shoes.

Fig.17: Machine support points / Machine/component handling
Move the machine on its wheels when
handling. Lift the machine with forklift
trucks with a minimum capacity of 500
kg and load the machine onto the forks
400 mm away from the fork carriage. Di-
mensions and fork entry points (marked
"P") - (see fig.).
The warehousing and storing of this
machine require an indoor room. Pro-
tect the machine from dust and keep its
electrical components dry. Before mov-
ing to storage, thoroughly clean the
machine of processing residues.
