2.4.1.1 Grease Gun
Spray "INTERFLON Fin Lube TF" thinly on the
accessible area of the linear guide (1).
In order to get a better access for cleaning or
greasing the linear guide you can move the driver by
hand.
Wipe any residual oil away with a lint-free cloth.
Switch the WPC on at the main switch and perform a
reference run.
Start a short continuous run of the feed axis to
distribute the oil evenly.
If necessary, use a lint-free cloth to remove any
residual oil that has dropped down from the feed axis.

The grease guns can be used with 400g cartridges or
with 500g loose grease. They have stepless piston
fixation. Permanent spring-loading applies pressure to
the grease cartridge, so that a continuous supply of
grease is guaranteed to the gun head.
The grease gun (1) is supplied with a rubber tank hose (2)
and a nozzle tube (3), each with a R1/8" connection
thread. The nozzle tube (3) is not required for WPC
maintenance.

Open one end of the cartridge, by pulling on the
plastic ring to remove the base.
Open the other end of the cartridge, by pulling off the
lid.
Push the open cartridge (open at both ends) as far as
possible into the filling tube.
NOTICE! The cartridge will only fit into the filling
tube if you insert the end with NO rim. This cartridge rim
must be aligned with the edge of the filling tube (see
arrow on right-hand diagram).
Press the filling tube against the head of the grease
gun.
Turn the filling tube clockwise to screw it into the gun
head, as far as the end stop.
Press the locking lever to release the piston.
The piston will be automatically pressed against the
grease by the spring in the filling tube.
