It is extremely important that the DEK printer is kept clean and that any signs of wear and tear are reported to the main-
tenance Technician. The Operator has an important role to play in maintaining the printer in the best possible condition.

⃞ Your instructor will demonstrate either your companies housekeeping procedure or the ASM recommended daily
maintenance procedure

At the end of a production run the process hardware should be cleaned, inspected and stored carefully. Any signs of
damage should be reported as appropriate.
Preparation
⃞ Review the process hardware sections of the BWP manual
Demonstration
⃞ Remove and clean each item of process hardware
⃞ Inspect process hardware for damage
⃞ Store the process hardware in an appropriate manner
