Troubleshooting Table - Pneumatic System
The following table lists possible error scenarios for the pneumatic system.
Probable Cause Corrective Action
Air filter sediment bowl full. Drain and clean sediment bowl.
Moisture contaminated in house air
supply.
Correct factory air supply to machine.
Drip rate set too high.
Set the drip rate as specified in the
Preventive Maintenance Schedule in the
Base Machine Procedures document.
Pneumatic system oiler failed.
Replace pneumatic system oiler and set
drip rate.
Drip rate set too low.
Set the drip rate as specified in the
Preventive Maintenance Schedule in the
Base Machine Procedures document.
O il res erv oir em pty . Refill oil res ervoir.
Pneumatic system oiler failed.
Replace pneumatic system oiler and set
drip rate.
Source air pressure too low.
Set factory air pressure to machine to
80 psi minimum.
Seals or o-rings are dry or dirty. Clean, lubricate, and replace if needed.
Control valve sluggish. Clean, lubricate, and replace if needed.
Drip rate s et too low. Adjus t drip rate as s pec ified.
Flow c ontrols set too low . Adjus t flow controls as spec ified.
O il res erv oir em pty . Refill oil res ervoir.
