13 Apply 1 x 2 μl with a slight motion to the
center of the left and right guide.
14 Move the segment 5 times up and down. 15 Repeat step 12 to 14 one more time.
16 Move the segment back in and turn the
star until the next segment is at the top.
17 Repeat step 12 to 16 for all other seg-
ments.
18 Clean up the multipette. See appendix
"Clean up the multipette".

1 Prepare the multipette. See appendix
"Prepare the multipette".
2 Turn the wheel and adjust 1 µl. 3 Turn the head upright and put the head
stand flat on the table.
4 Dry clean the drive bearing fixing it with
your finger.
5 Repeat Step 4 for all other segments. 6 Apply 1 x 1 μl to the gap of the bearing
and move it afterwards by 3 turns.
