1 Prepare the multipette. See appendix
"Prepare the multipette"
2 Turn the wheel and adjust 2 µl. 3 Move the head 90° to the right and put the
head stand in the upright position.
4 Remove the nozzle from segment 1 and
aling the segment with the mark at the star
housing.
5 Remove the grub screw. 6 Apply 1 x 2 µl of lubricant and remove the
multipette.

7 Turn the star by one segment (30 de-
grees).
8 Repeat step 6 to 7 for all other segments
for two full star rotations.
9 Mount the lubrication application tool with
the stopper at the side of the star motor.
10 Turn the star full 3 rotations. Lubricator
has to move up and down slightly. Then
remove lubricator.
11 Insert the grub screw. 12 Clean up the multipette. See appendix
"Clean-up the multipette"

Consumables:
1 Proceed with the head stand flat on the
table.
2 Remove all nozzles. 3 NEVER use a needle or a pointed tweez-
ers!
4 Remove the outer rubber tip. 5 Pull the inner plastic part out of the DP
drive.
6 Fit the new filter disc with your fingers and
press it in position until it engages audibly
using a plain tool.
