Wide board 242 / 508 mm SIPLACE
HS-60 / D4 (excess width HS-60 / D4)
2.1 Overview
With software version 505.03, the "Wide conveyor“ performance feature was upgraded so that
machine type HS-60 can also be used with its maximum conveyor width. 2
The behavior of the "Wide conveyor“ performance feature remains unchanged as far as possible. 2
The table below defines certain important terms relating to the performance feature that will help
you understand the following sections: 2

Term 2 Definition 2
Standard width 2 The previous maximum conveyor width, i.e. the previous position
of the stationary side wall, which was fixed on the old conveyor
(platform 1 / 2). 2
Wide HS-60
(Excess width HS-60) 2
This designates the maximum conveyor width as determined by
the machine type HS-60, i.e. the position of the stationary side
wall that can be used to set the maximum conveyor width. 2
Wide HF series 2
(Excess width HF series) 2
This designates the maximum conveyor width as determined by
the machines from the HF series, i.e. the position of the stationary
side wall that can be used to set the maximum conveyor width. 2
Wide (excess width) 2 General term for "Wide HS-60“ or "Wide HS series“ 2

Tab. 2.1 - 2 Guide values for the minimum and maximum conveyor widths
2
This gives for the maximum conveyor width on a line: 2
The maximum conveyor width on a line of machines is determined by the machine with the smal-
lest maximum conveyor width. This means, for example, if there are type HS-60 / D4 and HF-
series machines on a line, the maximum conveyor width is determined by the HS-60. 2
