2.8 Software installation and update
2.8.1 Installation
Reinstalling on machine type HS-60 / D4. 2
: Install the software for one machine with machine zero point on the inside.
After installation, check whether the machine configuration (SITEST / "Settings" menu) will have
to be modified for the installed machine zero point. 2
2.8.2 Update
Updating a machine that is already set to "Wide conveyor“.
The software update leaves the machine configuration unchanged. If machine zero point "outside"
was set before the update, then it will be retained. 2

2.9 Error scenarios
2.9.1 Error scenario: The machine zero point is moved without subsequently
"reducing / increasing the minimum traveling range for gantry 3“ and "cali-
brating the machine after moving the machine zero point“
After the machine zero point is moved, if the minimum traveling range is not modified and the ma-
chine is not then calibrated, then the machine will not run. 2
2.9.2 Error scenario: The extended conveyor configuration "Wide ...“ is set wit-
hout subsequent calibration
If no LP mapping is carried out after the extended conveyor configuration "Wide HS-60“ is set for
the first time, then the placement area thus obtained cannot be mapped. 2
After the extended conveyor configuration has been changed, if the conveyor is not calibrated,
then various problems may occur when setting minimum / maximum conveyor widths. This can
also affect other performance features, such as the "Flexible dual conveyor“ performance fea-
ture. 2
2.9.3 Error scenario: The wrong conveyor type is used
The operator is responsible for ensuring that only standard feeders are used. No such checks are
carried out by the station. If this is ignored, it can cause problems during placement which require
the machine to be switched off. 2
