1. About Safety Precaution Labels
"Safety Precautions" describes the precautionary items that should be kept to prevent
personal injury or property damage and to use the machine safely.
Before using this machine, please understand the contents of the following safety
precautions.
1. About Safety Precaution Labels
The safety precautions are expressed, using the combinations of safety alert symbols

" and headwords such as "DANGER", "WARNING", or "CAUTION" according to
the degree of danger.
Please fully understand the meaning of each precautionary item for safety purposes.
The safety alert symbols "
" are used to indicate a potential personal injury
hazard.
Please pay attention to all safety messages that follow the safety alert symbols to avoid
any possibility of injury or death.
DANGER
This indicates an imminently hazardous situation which, if not
avoided, will result in death or serious injury. This signal word

This indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not
avoided, could result in death or serious injury.
CAUTION
This indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not
avoided, may result in minor or moderate injury.

Basic Precautions
Before operating this machine, make sure to read the instruction manual carefully for
correct operations.
Please keep the instruction manual in a safe place within reach.
Follow the instructions in the instruction manual for correct handling of the machine.
Make sure to fully understand the contents of the safety instructions in this instruction
manual and follow these instructions.
Pay special attention to the precautionary items labeled on this machine or described
in the instruction manual and make sure to follow them. If the precautionary items are
ignored, it will result in personal injury or property damage (damage to the machine).
Make sure to follow the operational instructions for this machine described in this
instruction manual.
Never modify the machine or use any part other than the specied ones for the machine.
Make sure not to use the machine with its safety devices detached. Doing so may cause
personal injury.
Do not perform any operations other than those described in the instruction manual.
Whenever a problem arises, regarding the machine operations, performance, etc., please

Precautions before Use
Only a well-trained person should operate the machine.
Do not allow any untrained person to operate the machine.
Mishandling of the machine can cause a serious accident.
Before operating the machine, please read the instruction manual carefully for correct
operations.
Although the precautionary items have been reviewed repeatedly, an incident far
beyond our expectation may occur.
Not only follow the precautionary instructions described in the instruction manual but
also try to handle the machine carefully at your discretion all the time.
Conrm that no covers are disengaged before operating the machine.
If the machine is used with its cover(s) being detached, a serious accident may occur.
Be sure to attach the covers if they are disengaged.
Make certain that no people or objects come in contact with the moving mechanisms
of the machine (SIGMA-G4/G5).
Then, check safety and power up the machine to start operation.
Do not start the machine unless those working in the immediate area of the machine
are aware of hazards from moving parts.
Do not bring the tray magnet close to the area where a pacemaker is implanted.
Otherwise, the pacemaker may be inuenced by electromagnetic impulses of the
magnet, causing the wearer to faint, etc.
In principle, the overall operation of the machine including the button
operations on the operation panel of the machine (SIGMA-G4/G5) and the
touch screen must be controlled by only one person.
If operated by more than one, ensure good communication by giving loud verbal
instructions to avoid any danger that might be caused by an unexpected movement of
the machine.
Before starting the automatic operation, check carefully that there is no person around
the machine (especially on the other side of the machine operation). Make sure that no
objects (tools, parts, etc.) are left behind.
Be sure to strictly keep the above-mentioned instructions. Otherwise, not only wrong
operations of the machine but also personal injury will result.
