Qualified or adequately trained personnel means that these people are familiar with the setting up,

operation and maintenance of the machine and the add-on devices and are suitably qualified, e.g.:

●

Have been trained, instructed or authorized to switch on and off, isolate, earth and identify

electrical circuits and system components in accordance with normal safety standards.

●

Have been trained or instructed in the upkeep and use of appropriate safety equipment in

accordance with normal safety standards.

●

Have received first aid training.

SIPLACE C&P20P heads are used in SIPLACE TX2i V1 machines.

SIPLACE C&P20P2 heads are used in SIPLACE TX2 V2 machines.

The mixed mode option is only possible for these two machine types.

► In the following descriptions, the SIPLACE TX2i V1 with a SIPLACE C&P20P head is

mainly used as example.

The procedure is the same for SIPLACE TX2 V2 machines and a C&P20P2 head.

Any relevant differences will be mentioned explicitly.

This assembly instructions manual describes

the conversion of a SIPLACE TX2i V1 with

the head configurationCPP/CPP or

C&P20P/C&P20P to the head configura-

tionC&P20P/CPP or CPP/C&P20P.

2.1 Product description

It is also possible to operate both heads in Venturi mode or the SIPLACE C&P20x in vacuum mode

and the SIPLACE CPP in Venturi mode.

If a head/gantry is to be operated with

vacuum in mixed mode and the

machine is not yet equipped with a

vacuum pump, this gantry must be ret-

rofitted accordingly.
