2.3. Work
When the Work Menu is selected on the Main menu bar, the following sub menus appear.
The Work menu consists of 5 submenus; Part Information, Part Reel Registration, Part
Reel Management, Waste Part Reel, and Exit.

2.3.1. Part Information [F2]
Part Information searches for the Part Name and registration date registered in the
equipment.
To execute it, select Part Information from the Main menu or tool bar, select
,
press Alt+W on the keyboard then select P, or press the F2 key.

Find Condition
Consists of the Find Condition input window, Find/Delete button, and list box that
displays search result.
The Find, All, Del buttons are next to these. When the All Button or Del. Button is
turned gray, it is disabled.

checking.
- Case-Sensitive : Perform search by dividing the big and small letter when
checking.
ALL: Use it to view all registered PartNames.
DEL: Use it to delete selected PartNames.
The DEL button is activated only when the user mode is the SuperUser mode. It is to
prevent regular workers from deleting PartNames inadvertently. Use it to delete the
parts that are to be used no longer only. Take precautions since it is difficult to restore
parts once they are deleted.
Part Name Find Result
The search condition is displayed above the list, and the result is displayed in the list
box.
After entering the Partname or character strings to be searched in the Find Condition
input window and selecting Find displays the search result in the list box.
New Part
Used when registering a new part.
Excel
Used when saving the inquired list as an Excel (csv) file.
Print
Used when printing the inquired list.
Memo
To view data sorted by item, click the desired item at the top of the list box(ex. PartName
or Registered Date). The data is automatically sorted by respective item and displayed.
PartName can be deleted in PartStation only. After deleting a partname in this program,
the respective PartName should be deleted from all part information for complete
deletion. If it is not deleted from the equipment, it could be restored when other parts are
registered. Be sure to delete it from the equipment.

2.3.2. Part Reel Registration [F3]
Part Reel Registration registers new Part Reels and creates barcodes with the registered
Reelcodes.
Select Part Reel Registration from the Main menu or press the
button on the
tool bar. Or press Alt+W on the keyboard, then select R or press the [F3] key.
As shown in Figure 2-5, the screen consists of top window, list box, and the bottom
window that displays search result. In the top window, there are input edit boxes to

register Part Reel.

<PartName> edit box
Enter the PartName of the Reel to register. If the user does not know the exact name,
use the extended search function.

Ex: If the PartName is ABCD12345, entering 1 and pressing the find button
displays the PartNames containing 1 as shown in Figure. 2-6. Select the correct part
name in the Select PartName Dialog box and press the <OK> button. Then the part
name is registered in the part reel registration screen.

<Component Count> edit box
Enter the number of parts in the Reel.
<Part Reel Count> combo box
When there are more than one identical reels, specify the number of reels. Up to 20
ReelCodes are created and Barcodes are printed at a time.
<Vendor> edit box
Input the information on the part manufacturer.
<Description> edit box
Enter a description of the part. This description printed under the barcode provides
additional information about the reel to the worker.
