4 Maintenance of the OIS and SIS Databases

4.1 Automatic Maintenance and Reorganization

The OIS and SIS databases have stored procedures that remove old data from the databases

regularly.

However, this may lead to fragmented database indexes and distorted statistics. Thus, indexes and

statistics will be reorganized automatically at regular intervals.

NOTICE

SIPLACE OIS V10.x / V11.x – periodic manual maintenance required!

If these versions are used, the OIS database should be manually maintained bimonthly

to avoid performance losses in the database queries.
