An Explorer Window appears.
→ Navigate to the folder <DRIVE>:\UPDATES\WINDOWS INSTALLER\3.1.

→ Double-click WINDOWSINSTALLER-KB893803-V2-X86.EXE in the folder
<DRIVE>:\UPDATES\WINDOWS INSTALLER\3.1
Note:
This setup package may be used for fresh installation or update of Windows
Installer.
After a few seconds the following window appears:

→ Click the Next > button.

The following dialog appears:

→ Read the License Agreement.
→ Select the radio button besides “I Agree”.
→ Click the Next > button.
Wait until the Windows Installer 3.1 setup completes. The following dialog appears:

→ Click the Finish button.
