1 Purpose
This manual describes the general system requirements for Support Media 2.0 and the
interoperable products within Release R70. In addition changes regarding the functionality
and the DVD content are mentioned and also critical usage notes are considered.
NOTICE
Function of the Support Media DVD
The Support Media DVD included in the installation package checks the
necessary system requirements of your system and installs them. Amongst
others, e.g. Microsoft .NET Framework, the License Manager and the Error
Reporting tool.
CAUTION
Installation of new software
The use of the Support Media 2.0 is obligatory (except for station software)!

We do support the following display languages with native Windows version or via
language packs:

German
We do support
the English version of the Microsoft SQL Server on the English version of
Microsoft Windows
the English version with German language pack of the Microsoft SQL Server
on the English version of Microsoft Windows with German language pack
The English version with Chinese language pack of the Microsoft SQL
Server on the English version of Microsoft Windows with Chinese language
pack.
Other display languages and language packs are not supported.
