5.1 Standard functions
5.1.1 Bad mark reader
In the case of a multi-circuit PWB, the user can perform a setting so that no glue may be
dispensed to a defective circuit by reading a bad mark (defective circuit) provided for each circuit
by OCC.
As an option, the bad mark reader (BMR) is set.
5.1.1.1 Size of applicable mark
φ2.5 mm or more
5.1.1.2 Recommended color of applicable mark
Non-white board color (mainly printed circuit board): White
White board color (mainly ceramic board): Black
5.1.1.3 Bad mark
This mark is provided for each circuit in the PWB. When this mark exists in a circuit, glue
dispensing is not performed for this circuit.

5.1.2 Dispensing diameter recognition unit (with a blank run function)
5.1.2.1 Detecting method
The dispensing diameter and area of the glue applied on the blank run tape of the blank run unit
are measured by OCC. When the specified value is exceeded, the system is stopped.
5.1.2.2 Recognition range

5.2 Options
5.2.1 Auto PWB Width Alignment
The PWB width is automatically changed to the input PWB width by stepping motor.
5.2.2 External Air Vent Unit
The external air vent unit is manually operated to fill the needle with glue (for air vent) when the
needle is mounted in the syringe containing glue at setting outside the system.
5.2.3 EPU
EPU is an abbreviation of External Programming Unit, which is software to create a program on
the PC.
5.2.4 UPS
UPS is an abbreviation of Uninterruptible Power Supply (Protection against blackout).
The following operation is performed by UPS.
The production control information is backed up and the production continuation information is
protected. After the program in the process of creation is saved, shutdown processing is
performed.
After a power recover, the production can be continued and the program in the process of
reaction can be recovered, and then the production control information can be continued.
5.2.5 BMR
A bad mark is given to a circuit on a multi-circuit PWB to prevent any component from being
placed on the circuit. The minimum diameter of a bad mark is 2.5 mm or more and the color of a
mark should be highly contrasted with the color of a board. The brightness can be switched when
the color of a board is bright (looks white).When you use an optional bad mark reader, the time for
recognizing one bad mark can be shortened by approximately 0.1 seconds with comparing with
the time taken with the standard OCC.
5.2.6 Leak Breaker
When the current flows besides the electric circuit, electricity is automatically intercepted.
5.2.7 LCD touch panel
It is an input device that operates the equipment touching as for the screen.
5.2.8 IS (Intelligent Shopfloor Solutions) : Production support system
This software is to be used with the JUKI mounters and dispensers, allow you to manage the
productions not only per line but also per floor. The IS manages and optimizes the
information and jobs for a whole manufacturing floor comprehensively to provide you
improved productivity, better manufacturing quality, and cost reduction.

5.2.9 JaNets : Production support system
As with our software IS, This software consolidates and optimizes information on JUKI
mounters allocated on the several lines (production site) to improve productivity and
production quality and to reduce production cost of each line.
Applicable models : RS-1, RX-7, RX-6 series, KE-3000 series, FX-3 series,
KE-2070/80 series, KE-2050/60 series, KD-2077
