1 Introduction
This user manual contains technical information and descriptions to operate the SIPLACE Linear
Dipping Unit E (LDU E).
1.1 Module Description
The LDU E is a special feeder module that makes flux available in a pre-defined layer thickness.
Components can be dipped into the flux to improve their solderability. The LDU E is set up on a
changeover table in the same way as any other E-feeder module and is controlled by the station
software and the line software.
