Pallet Chuck
Every 3 Months Lubrication
(DAPHNE EPONEX GREASE No. 1)
Required Time: 5 minutes
Wipe off old grease with an oiled rag and
apply new one to the grooves of the linear
guide rails with a hand.
Take ample care not to leave any
waste threads after cleaning.

Removal of the Pallet Chuck Protection Cover
Procedure
(1) Zero the multi-layer tray feeder.
(2) Turn off the power.
(3) Remove the set screws (M3L4) (2 locations).
WARNING
Before detaching the maintenance cover, be sure
to turn off the power breaker and lock it with a
padlock.

Attachment of the Maintenance Cover
Attach the maintenance cover using the reverse procedure of the removal of the
pallet chuck protection cover.
CAUTION
After the maintenance work, be sure to attach the
cover back in place.

Groove on Feeder Base
Every Week Cleaning
Required Time: 2 minutes
Suck dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner.
Upper Surface of Feeder Base
Every Day Cleaning
Required Time: 2 minutes
Remove foreign substances and unrequired
components with a vacuum cleaner and
wipe off dirt and dust with a rag.

Scrap Box
Every Day Cleaning
Required Time: 1 minute
When the scrap box is filled with the tape with
no components, draw the scrap box out and
remove such tape.
Reel Box
Every Day Cleaning
Required Time: 5 minutes
Clean the dust and debris at the bottom of the
reel box using a vacuum cleaner, or open the
cover and drop any dust and debris into the
scrap box.
