4.3.1.4 Setting the Limiter
The limiter below the vibrator flaps needs to be set to the height of the components used.
The notch at the back of the limiter ensures that you can easily remove the components and prevents
small components from being sucked up against the component stick magazine.
When using larger components, such as SO14, the back notch on the limiter points towards the front,
away from the component.
Position of limiter when using larger components
When using smaller components, the back notch on the limiter points towards the back, with the edge
towards the component.
Position of limiter when using smaller components
►To set the limiter, loosen the two screws on the front of the vibratory feeder.
►Turn the limiter into the correct position for the component used.
►Fix the limiter into place with the two screws.

4.3.2 Fitting Component Stick Magazines onto the Feeder
►Insert the stick magazine from the back onto the corresponding position on the vibratory feeder.
(1) Make sure that the stick magazine engages properly at the back of the vibratory feeder, in the
appropriate position for that magazine and then push the stick magazine from the back forwards, as
far as the end stop.
►(2) Open the vibrator flaps.
►(3) Fit the stick magazine onto the front of the vibratory feeder.
Make sure that the centering pin of the stick magazine engages in the corresponding recess, for that
magazine, on the vibratory feeder.
NOTICE
Vibratory linear feeders are suitable for operation with one stick magazine or two/three stick
magazines in a parallel arrangement. Make sure that the component stick magazines are
always fixed correctly at the back and front, in the correct position.
Component stick magazines of varying heights and widths can be fitted parallel to one another
on the same body. However, the vibrator flaps will need to be adjusted accordingly.
