Trouble Shooting
4.2.1.1. Part Non-pickup Error
E0000 Tape is not set properly in the tape feeder.
[Cause]
Sprocket teeth of the tape feeder are not engaged correctly into the tape holes.
[How to Check]
Check whether the sprocket is engaged into tape holes properly.
Check whether the tape reel is not set in the tape feeder with the cover tape not being
peeled off.
[Measures]
Engage the sprocket teeth of the tape feeder into the tape holes correctly.
E0001 Defect occurred to the tape
[Cause]
When removing the cover tape by hand, a part is detached along with the cover tape
since it is stuck on the cover tape.
[How to Check]
When removing the cover tape manually, check whether a part is lifted due to its being
stuck to the tape.
[Measures]
Change the tape
E0002 Tape guide is deformed
[Cause]
The tape guide does not move smoothly or it is deformed due to impact
[How to Check]
Check whether the tape guide moves smoothly by moving the tape guide. Then check
for its deformation.

efective tape guide maintenance
[Cause]
Foreign material is jammed in the cover tape slot of the tape guide.
Foreign materials or parts such as chips are jammed between the tape guide and the
main body of the feeder or between the tape guide and tape.

E0004 Incorrect part supply speed setup
[Cause]
The part to be supplied at low speed mode is supplied at high speed mode
[How to Check]
Check the part supply speed in the ‘Part’ menu of the MMI
[Measures]
Change the part supply speed to low speed mode in the ‘Part’ menu of the MMI.
E0005 Defective feeder maintenance
[Cause]
Foreign materials exist on the sprocket, which disturbs feeding
[How to Check]
Check for existence of foreign materials on the sprocket
[Measures]
Remove the foreign materials on the sprocket and ratchet
E0006 Defective feeding motor operation of the tape feeder
[Cause]
Abnormal power supply to the motor

[How to Check]
After checking whether 24V power is applied to the docking cart, check the
connection status of the VCCB cable and clamp drawer connector.
Install the tape again and check whether the homing and feeding of the feeder motor is
performed properly.

Clean the feeder and feeder base slot interface connectors and check whether homing
and feeding are performed properly
Check whether feeder setup unit generates a noise during homing and feeding, and
check visually the degree of vibration of the sprocket gear when it stops after feeding
Replace the feeder control board and check whether it operates properly
Check whether the feeder board control board cable is properly connected. Replace the
feeder control board cable and check whether the board operates proplerly

Check whether the Pickup Z value is appropriate for the corresponding part

Adjust the pickup Z height and pickup speed.
