3.6.1 Converting the transformer T1 from 230 VAC to 115 VAC
Transformer T1 (item 1 in Fig. 3 - 5) can be accessed from beneath the top part of the frame
(item 2 in Fig. 3 - 5

Å Loosen the four hexagon socket-head screws.
Å Pull the cover plate over the transformer housing down and off.

Å Detach the black wire from terminal 5 and connect to terminal 4.
3.6.2 Replacing fuse F1
Å Replace the fuse in the fuse holder in the cover panel:
old rating: 3.15 A T
new rating: 6.3 A T

Å Replace the adhesive label specifying 3.15 A with the 6.3 A label from the conversion kit.
Å Replace the cover panel over the transformer and tighten the four hexagon socket-head
screws.
3.6.3 Carry out the safety check to DIN EN 60 204
Å When the conversion is complete, carry out a safety check to DIN EN 60 204.
Å Follow the procedure described in section 2, page 72 onwards.

3.7 Converting the wafflepack changer from 3x400 VAC to 3x230 VAC

Å To convert the wafflepack changer:
– switch off the placement machine,
– disconnect it from the power supply and
– secure it to prevent reclosing as described in section 1

Å remove the main power plug for the wafflepack changer and the square plug for the safety loop
from the placement machine.
3.7.1 Converting transformer T1 from 3 x 400 VAC to 3 x 230 VAC
Å Loosen the four hexagon socket-head screws (item a in Fig. 3 - 7) on the rear panel of the
wafflepack changer.
Å Remove the cover plate (item s in Fig. 3 - 7).
