2.2 Target Group and Safety
2.2.1 Target Group
The service and monitoring software CACCIA has been designed for service technicians.
Observe safety guidelines when handling the machine.
2.2.1.1 User Classification
The service technician is trained and authorized to perform service work and machine
conversions/backfitting.
2.2.2 Safety Instructions
WARNING
The CACCIA test program may only be installed and operated by SIEMENS L&A service
personnel. Inappropriate use of CACCIA will cause severe damage to the machine and put the
operating personnel at risk.
WARNING
Always observe the operating safety guidelines as specified in the currently valid service manual
for the SIPLACE machine concerned.
WARNING
Always observe the ESD guidelines whenhandling ESD assemblies. Please refer tothe operating
manual for the relevant SIPLACE machine.
