2.5. Removing Waste Vinyl
In the case of the SME 8mm/W4P1 tape feeder, if the vinyl box is filled with a certain
amount of waste vinyl, the vinyl box door opens automatically and waste vinyl is
discharged. It is recommended to remove waste vinyl once the door opens. The waste
vinyl can be easily cut off using the vinyl cutter installed beside the vinyl box. After
cutting off the waste vinyl, close the door.

Forward
Button
Each time the Forward button is
pressed, the tape moves forward
by 4mm.
Pressing the Forward button once
and holding it down for a few
seconds will move the tape forward
as far as the set distance (pitch x
4mm).
Keeping the Forward button
pressed will move the tape forward
by the set distance (pitch x 4mm).
In order to stop the forward
movement, lift your finger off the
Forward button.
Each time the Backward
button is pressed, the
tape moves by 2mm and
4mm when the pitch is
2P and 4P,
respectively.(8mm)
Each time the Backward
button is pressed, the
tape moves by
1mm.(W4P1)
