9.2 Details of Options
9.2.1 Reference Pin Unit
(1) This system uses pins to hold the PCB in position. It can also be used in
combination with fiducial marks.
(2) The following reference pins are available.
• Diameter 3.0 mm round or diamond shaped.
• Diameter 4.0 mm round or diamond shaped.
Note: The use of reference pins increases the PCB loading time by 0.3 seconds.
Contact Fuji if the reference pins are to be used with PCBs less than 1.0
mm in thickness.
9.2.2 PCB Support
(1) Back-up pins
It is possible to purchase further back-up pins to supplement the number
supplied with the CP-643E/643ME.
(2) Vacuum back-up pins
PCBs can be supported using vacuum pressure supplied through special
back-up pins. The vacuum back-up system comes with 10 vacuum back-up
pins. Extra pins can be purchased separately.
Note: The XY-table used with the vacuum back-up pins differs from the
standard XY-table. The standard back-up pins cannot be used with this
table. PCB loading time is lengthened by approximately one second when
using vacuum back-up pins. This may also vary depending on the
settings made for the speed of the XY-table.

These blocks can be used with the standard XY-table back-up plate. The
blocks come with 20 mm segment slits so they can be easily split up and
arranged on the back-up plate as necessary.
9.2.3 Nozzles (Spare)
Order additional nozzles as necessary.
9.2.4 Support for Thin PCBs
Support for PCBs thinner than 0.5 mm (no thinner than 0.3 mm) is available.

9.2.5 Tape Feeders and Bulk Feeders
Tape feeders of 8, 12, 16, 24, and 32 mm are available.
Select the tape type for each feeder.
Bulk feeders for 1005Cs (in. 0402) and 1608Cs (in. 0603) are available.
Notes:
1. Both 330 and 380 diameter reels can be mounted on reel holders. The supply
capacity is 10,000 parts at a feeding pitch of 4 mm, and 5000 parts at a feeding
pitch of 8 mm.
2. At pitches of 2, 4, 8, 12 and 16 mm, parts are fed at one stroke per pitch. Up to
pitches of 24 mm, parts are fed at a multiple of the pitches above.
(24 mm is the maximum length at which tape can be cut off.)
3. 380 diameter reel holders are manufactured on demand.
4. The maximum applicable nozzle diameter is included in the reel's alphanumeric
number. All nozzles within this diameter can be used.
5. All CP-6 dedicated feeders are made of aluminum.
6. The dimensions of the W8, 13-inch parts reels are shown below.
CP-6 dedicated feeders use a box-type reel holder, providing structural stability
to ensure repeated component pick-up accuracy.
