Machine Data Standard Values
70 Service Manual SIPLACE WPC4
Note: The special characters {,}, <,>,[,],\, must be left where they are in the file. They help the machine
controller to assign the individual data. If the format of the WPC.ma file is no longer correct, restoration
(download) will not succeed. In this case, the old data will remain on the controller board. The text lines
"reserved" indicate parameters which are currently not needed.
X Enter the standard values, from the table below, in the machine file.
X Save the file and close the editor (Notepad).
Restoring machine data with standard values
X Start SITEST.
X Open the menu:
SITEST Machine data.
X Click on the selection button:
Restore WPC machine data …
.
X Select the data folder.
X Click on OK.
Calibrating the WPC4
The WPC4 only has one valid data set. This now needs to be adapted to the current WPC4.
X Perform all necessary calibration steps.

4.4 Other Functions
4.4.1 Performing a Reference Run
The reference run moves the WPC4 axes to a defined starting position.
Reference run of all axes
X Open the SITEST main view and select the function=>
SITEST Functions
.
X In the input area
Functions
select the button Reference run. A reference run of the lifting and feed
axis will be performed automatically.
Reference run of individual axes
X Open the SITEST main view and select the function=>
SITEST Axes
.
X Select the required axis in the input area
Axis
.
X In the input area
Functions
select
Reference run
. A reference run of the lifting and feed axis will be
performed automatically.
4.4.2 Performing a Continuous Run
The WPC4 can be operated in continuous mode for test purposes. Depending on the setting, the waffle
pack trays may be changed automatically.
X Open the SITEST main view and select the function=>
SITEST Functions
.
X In the input area
Functions
select
Continuous run
.
X Follow the instructions as you are guided through the menu. See also SITEST.
4.4.3 Positioning Axes
The axes can be moved to a required position for test purposes.
X Open the SITEST main view and select the function=>
