4.4 Other Functions
4.4.1 Performing a Reference Run
The reference run moves the WPC4 axes to a defined starting position.
Reference run of all axes
X Open the SITEST main view and select the function=>
SITEST Functions
.
X In the input area
Functions
select the button Reference run. A reference run of the lifting and feed
axis will be performed automatically.
Reference run of individual axes
X Open the SITEST main view and select the function=>
SITEST Axes
.
X Select the required axis in the input area

. A reference run of the lifting and feed axis will be
performed automatically.
4.4.2 Performing a Continuous Run
The WPC4 can be operated in continuous mode for test purposes. Depending on the setting, the waffle
pack trays may be changed automatically.

4.4.5 Calibrating Reference Fiducials
The WPC4 has two reference fiducials for determining the exact position in the docked SIPLACE
machine. These reference fiducials are automatically approached and measured after docking. If these
reference fiducials are not found, you will need to calibrate them.
X Open the SITEST main view and select the function=>
SITEST Functions
.
X In the input area
Calibrate pickup position
select
Calibration
.
X Follow the instructions as you are guided through the menu. See also SITEST.
NOTE: Calibration required after conversion
X After converting from the changeover table to the WPC4, perform calibration of the reference
fiducial.
