10.0,10.1, 11.0,11.1, 11.2, 12.0 including all released Hotfixes and Service Packs.

Information on the SIPLACE Pro Interface (SPI.NET) 1
SIPLACE Pro version 8.0 was the last version supporting the SIPLACE Pro Interface (SPI.Net).
From SIPLACE Pro version 9.2 the SIPLACE Pro Interface (SPI. NET) is replaced by SIPLACE
OIB.

Note
The system requirements (supported operation system and database variants) and an
overview of the interoperable products can be found in the SIPLACE Support Media In-
stallation Manual, item no. [00197214-xx].
Note
During the installation, your SIPLACE Pro databases are automatically updated to the SI-
PLACE Pro 12.1 data format.
Data model export files (*.xml) of previous SIPLACE Pro versions (from SIPLACE Pro
2.0 onward) can be imported.
Note
Replace SPI.NET based applications with SIPLACE OIB.

1.4 Resource Requirements
Hard disk
– Windows and programming files:

– Database and backup:
– ~Number of optimized recipes x 20 MB
Main memory
– Windows:
– ~200 MB.
– SQL Server:
– Typically 500 MB (RAM requirement depends on the data volume)
– LineControl Server
– ~100 MB
– For every client (Desk, LineControl GUI, Optimizer Toolkit) each
– ~100 MByte + number of recipes x number of placement positions / 1000 MB
Memory requirements - Example a:
Complete SIPLACE Pro installation with the following characteristics:
– 500 optimized recipes in the system
– Jobs with an average of seven recipes, each with 1000 placement positions
– One job is loaded in SIPLACE Pro Desk.
– A maximum of seven recipes are loaded in one production schedule in the LC GUI.
– Hard drive (minimum)

– RAM (minimum)
– ~ 800 MB
