1 Overview
This installation manual provides instructions on installing the Windows XP Embedded operating system
for the machine controller.
It contains information on the scope of delivery and requirements for successful installation.

2 Scope of delivery
One media standard package for installing the Windows XP Embedded operating system is available. It
contains different CDs/DVDs for each machine controller type.
Caution:
It is imperative that the installation CD/DVD from the standard package for the relevant computer
type as given in the table below is used to install the operating system on a machine controller
computer.
