NOTE
You must review the "Operating Safety" chapter in the operating instructions for the SIPLACE
placement system and the SIPLACE X-Series Productivity Shuttles!
WARNING
No actions may be performed without thorough knowledge of the operating instructions of the
SIPLACE placement system and the SIPLACE X-Series Productivity Shuttle. Only trained and
qualified personnel are allowed to carry out actions. Compliance with all warnings, cautions, and
danger notices is mandatory.
DANGER
The SIPLACE Station and the XPS are electrically driven. Therefore, parts of this equipment
conduct dangerous voltages – even when the main switch is switched off! Comply with all
applicable VDE, VDI, and VGB provisions.
Always switch off the main switches of the equipment and disconnect the equipment from the
power supply system if you are performing work on live parts. Failure to comply with any of these
notices can result in death, serious bodily injury, and/or significant property damage!
Comply with all accident prevention regulations and operating instructions applicable to operation
of the equipment. This applies, in particular, to the traversing ranges of lifting and feeding axes.
