TrayStak Feeder AX
The feeder is only supported on the X4i S placement machine and can be positioned on the
locations 2 and 3 only.
A table of type "DX Table 40 X" has to be configured. Additionally, the "WPC X" table insert has
to be selected s in order to release the traveling range of the placement head for the feeder.
Only one Dip module LDU-X can be installed beside the feeder.
If 2 TrayStak Feeder AX are installed together with an LDU-X, the table has to be manually
selected in the Auto Configuration of the station software.
No nozzle changer support.
Stationary camera cannot be used.
CPP placement head supported only.
Feeder and placement heads are neither controlled in SIPLACE Pro nor in the station software.
Due to the hardware, the sequence oft he components (chain) cannot be warranted. Therefore,
setup verification with SIPLACE Setup Center cannot be performed.
After the machine has been rebooted or the feeder has been locked / unlocked, the feeder has
to be manually activated with the buttons on the feeder each time.
If the feeder is used without a reject conveyor, this may result in incomplete head cycles what
causes a reduced placement performance.
If there is no space to put back the component, it will be rejected.

Export of Restrictions from SIPLACE Pro to the Line Computer
Since SIPLACE Pro 2.0 Service Pack 1, restrictions can be exported to the line computer. Because
of data structure differences, the line computer and SIPLACE Pro behave differently. The two main
differences are:
1. The line computer forces you to select a specific recipe and the created restriction is based on
this recipe only.
In SIPLACE Pro, however, you are free to use every restriction with any recipe in any job. The
line computer cannot identify to which recipe the restriction belongs and therefore the line
computer doesn't know where to save the restriction.
2. On the line computer, within each restriction (i.e. for each recipe), you either bind specific
components or component shapes with their default feeders on tables and machines or you
exclude them. It is only possible to bind or exclude component shapes and components
together with the feeders, because the feeder is part of the data set.
In SIPLACE Pro, however, components, component shapes and feeders can be bound to or
excluded from a table or a machine. Here, the feeder is missing in the restriction.
The restrictions which can be exported from SIPLACE Pro are the conveyor side (right or left) and
the default feeder allocated to each component or component shape. Proceed as follows:
Open a new restriction and add all relevant components and component shapes.
Open each of the objects added and add the default feeder, if not already present.
Back in the Restriction Editor, add a new line for each feeder. Please assign the feeder (target
[station], right or left machine side [conveyer lane]).
Make sure that you choose the same targets and sub targets for all objects (component,
component shape and feeder).
Result:
You should now have one line per component, component shape and feeder. All new entries are
immediately saved in the database.
You can only export the right or left machine side (conveyor lane) if All, Left or Right is
Start the Line Computer Export under ExtrasExport.
In the first screen, choose a destination path and the name for the restriction.
In the rest of the Line Computer Export, choose the Components and Component Shapes you
want to add to the *.ri file.
Be sure to activate the check box Update feeder information (.ri)!
If you do not activate this check box and selects these objects, the new information
When the export is completed, the result is shown in the notification window.
