General
The Intelligent Feeder System (IFS-NX) succeeds to JUKI software, Intelli SCS.
This system uses barcodes and/or 2D codes to carry out quality control over mounters with the
functions Parts Verificationand Traceability,” “improves the workability of tooling change and
performs the Component inventory controlfunction. You can select an authentication method of a
feeder or a tray supply unit: a barcode, an RFID, or CAN. When you use a component supply device
that supports an RFID and CAN, operations such as verification and management can be automated.
This drastically improves quality control and working efficiency.
IFS - NX can be used alone without the need for a floor productivity improvement support system
(JaNets, IS, IS Lite, MI Line Optimizer).

Features
<Parts Verification>
- This function matches a new reel to an old one when components run out to prevent a defective
PWB from being produced due to placement of a component at a wrong position.
- It also checks components against a production program during job setup to prevent a defective
PWB from being produced due to placement of a component at a wrong position.
<Component inventory control and Feeder location search>
- This function allows you to easily search the location of a component supply device such as a
feeder, its use status and the loaded components, and/or reserve it.
- By registering each component when it is put in storage, you can search the component location
and the number of remaining components by serial number. This function leads rationalization of
inventory control and inventory clearance.
<Traceability and Reading a circuit barcode>
- The detailed information such as a placed component serial number, a lot, a head unit, and a
nozzle can be checked with the traceability function.
- The conventional traceability function is enhanced so that a code of each circuit as well as that of
each board can be recognized to control the component placement history.
<MSD control> Moisture Sensitive Device
- MSD components can be managed, and use of out-of-date components is prohibited.
<Maintenance history>
- The inspection history of a feeder can be recorded and controlled. This function also allows you to
set the maintenance schedule depending on the feeder usage, and displays the corresponding
warning. Therefore, it prevents short time breakdown to produce stable products.
<Productivity improvement>
- The production status can be checked on the line during production together with various types of
information (such as a component shortage warning and a process error).
- The Random feeder setup function allows you to install a feeder at the desired position to
produce PWBs.
- Adoption of a server PC is effective to manage the entire factory, share the database and back up
data.
<Compatibility>
- Component data can be shared with IS,JaNets (excluding the RX-7/7R).
- Intelli SCS/EM can be upgraded to this system.
