10.1 Accessories for SL Feeders (optional)

(1) Tape Leveler SL-TL100

This is a dedicated jig for straightening the curvature of a tape tip so that

cover tape processing can occur smoothly.

It has two inputs, 'E' and 'P' for forming the tape start.

(If the tape tip is strongly curved, cover tape processing might not occur

correctly during automatic loading.)

(2) Cover Tape Width Checker SL-CW100

This is the JIG for checking the distance between the fused bands of Cover

Tape, and it will be useful to select a proper model of the SL Feeders and to

determine if the model selected is applicale to the Taping Components.

In case of the following image,

select the (L) type of the SL feeder.

Select the part of the checker (S/M/L/LL)

that satisfies the following two condi-

tions.

● A pocket is hidden by the part of the

checker.

● There is clearance between the left

and right fused bands (fused width)

and the selected part of the checker.

(3) Magnetism Checker SL-MC100

In indexing of the tape,for the embossed tape components which will not

stay with stable position in the pockets of the carrer tape, the automatic

decelerating of the tape indexing works in advance, however, this automatic

decelerating can be canceld depending on components. In case of that the

component can be magnetized, the magnet tted under the pickup section

will suppress the rampage of components. This with or without check of

magnetism should not be done for the component alone, but it is necessary to

perform the check by the magnetic suck effect through the carrier tape.

(4) Multi-Reels Stocker (for SIGMA-G5/F8/G5S)

This stocker allows the foregoing tape and the following resupply tape to be

set simultaneously in the respective lane. And it prevents from moving up of

a reel in reel-end.
