MACHINE PARAMETER
Machine parameter and machine parameter teaching
If the same type of machine is mass-produced, quite the same machine cannot be
produced. Each of them have slight difference in it. For actual operation, correct this
difference in advance to prevent such small deviation as mounting position for each
machine.
“Machine Parameter” is the value of which slight difference is corrected by such
method as calibration. “Machine Parameter Teaching” is the adjustment and calibrat-
ing to set each “Machine Parameter.”
This chapter is constituted as follows.
2-1 Machine Parameter
Opening the “Machine Parameter Menu” and “Machine Parameter Teaching” screens and the
display of each machine parameter are described.
2-2 Procedures of Machine Parameter Teaching
Machine parameter teaching uses some kinds of tools. This section describes the operating
procedures including the way of using them.
∗ The screen starts “Machine Maintenance” in the items of “Machine Parameter Menu.” How-
ever, as most of it is actually used in “Regular Maintenance,” it is described only in chapter 1.
